With Infrastructural Support from Raman Research Institute (RRI) Trust, The Innovation and Science Promotion Foundation (ISPF) is pleased to invite you to a demo and workshop on Science and Maths Toys at Sir C.V. Raman’s house, Panchavati, in Malleswaram. The event will be conducted from Saturday 23 May to Tuesday 26 May, 2015.
There are two programs, an Introductory Demo on Saturday, 23 May and a 3-day workshop between 24-26 May.
Introduction to Hands On Science and Math Toys
The introduction provides an overview of an interesting and engaging way to learn science and math. It is scheduled between 10:30AM and 1PM on 23rd May (Saturday) and is open to all.
We will show a lot of spinning, dancing, rotating, magnetic, electrical toys. All the toys are made from material that is accessible to every child. Children will get exposed to the application of science through a selected subset of toys, many of which have been picked from Arvind Gupta Toys.
Workshop on Hands On Science and Math Toys
The workshop is designed to get children to make science and math toys on their own, with assignments (necessary materials provided) to be done at home before the next day’s workshop. The workshop is between 24-26 May (3 days) and we have two batches – 10AM to 12:30PM and 2PM to 4:30PM.
