Session 1: Stretch your Database onto the cloud
Abstract: If you are a SQL DBA or a Database decision maker and have faced any of these problems –
• The size of the tables is getting out of control.
• Your users say that they want access to historical data, but they only rarely use it.
• You have to keep buying and adding more storage.
• You can’t backup or restore such large tables within the SLA.
…Then this session is just for you!
In this demo based session, I will introduce you to a new feature in SQL Server 2016 – Stretch Database. This hybrid feature will enable to you to literally stretch your database onto the cloud and help you to address the above issues. The following topics will be covered as part of the session –

Thanks for Volunteers who have registered for the Plantation Drive on Saturday 4th June, 2016. We keep the registrations open till the last minute and anyone can join tomorrow morning directly at the venue.

7.45am – All volunteers Assemble at the School
8am – School Prayer followed by a speech by Mr. Murali regarding Environment awareness
8.30am – Volunteers introduction and start the plantation activity.
11.30am – Finish both Planting & Watering and ensure the plants are maintained even in case of high winds.. Protection for saplings are getting done and probably will be ready by Saturday.
12pm – Lunch
1pm – Vote of Thanks and disperse..

NOTE :
Volunteers are requested to have breakfast and assemble at the venue.
Refreshments and packed lunch will be arranged for all the volunteers.
No need to carry any extra accessories for planting. Everything will be provided at the venue.
For Ramanagar school, if any of you would like to volunteer for Car pooling, please let us know so that I can connect with others. Please call respective POC for any details.
