What is the purpose of this get-together?
· Getting to know fellow-volunteers – most of us are quite involved in the project we are associated with, and our interactions have likely been limited to the other volunteers at that project/event. This gives an occasion to interact with and get to know all the other volunteers in our area.

· Zooming out and seeing the bigger picture – Again, we tend to immerse ourselves fully into the project/activity we are associated with; it’s important to every once in a while give ourselves the chance to look beyond at the bigger picture of the entire spectrum of activities and work YFS volunteers are doing.

· Developing our understanding of the Developmental space – By being exposed to ideas and knowledge about the various aspects of the developmental space, we broaden our understanding, which in turn gives more depth to the work we do.

· Sharing experiences and jointly resolving any issues – We can all share our experiences while out on field in our respective projects/activities, and this also serves as a platform to jointly discuss possible solutions to roadblocks any volunteer might be facing.

· Personal growth and Volunteering plan for the month ahead – By discussing the various options during the upcoming few weeks, each of us can decide our personal volunteering plan for the coming month, uptil the next volunteer get-together. Also, to look at the various opportunities for personal growth that volunteering as an experience inevitably offers.
