GiftAbled Foundation works closely with Disabled especially Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired in Bangalore. We have started Deaf Club and Vision club (for Visually impaired), a platform to learn from each other. GiftAbled Foundation is a non-profit initiative which strives to create an ecosystem of like-minded individuals to come together to build a sensitized and disabled friendly society.

As part of our Sensitization, Awareness and Inclusiveness workshops we have initiated “Intro to Braille and Sign Language workshop” which covers Basic understanding and learning A to Z in Braille and Sign Language along with awareness and insight to the challenges of people with disabilities! Through this workshop our aim is to communicate Appropriate Information on disability issues and Appropriate Visibility of persons with disabilities, to alter perspectives of the non-disabled population on the strengths, problems and discrimination faced by persons with disability and help emphasize on abilities rather than disabilities.
