Greetings from The Project Vision Team!

We require around 100 volunteers for the Bangalore Blind Walk to be held on 31st August 2014 from Id Ghar Masjid Gate to Christha Prabhalaya Church at 4th Block Jayanagar.

Bangalore Blind Walk we have 100 Visually Challenged persons and 500 blindfolded people following them. The Volunteers need to guide the visually challenged plus the blindfolded through out the path of the walk.

The walk is around 1 km stretch. After the walk we have a pledge and small tea break.

Then we have a cultural program at Christha Prabhalaya Church by Visually Challenged performers from Shree Ramana Maharishi Academy for Blind

Entire program will be from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Volunteers have to report by 2.30 pm.

We will provide a cap to all the volunteers, refreshments and a Certificate of Participation

Warm Regards,

Calling for volunteers to lead the Bangalore blindwalk organized by The Project Vision, to raise awareness on eye donation and visual impairment.

Role of the volunteer would be to guide a visually impaired person for a 1 km walk. This visually impaired person will inturn lead 5 BLIND FOLDED participants through the walk.

This is certainly going to be an interesting experience with 100 visually impaired leaders, 100 lead volunteers and 500 Blind Folded participants.

Please go through the details and confirm your presence directly to Anita at info@theprojectvision.org
