We have just announced the 3rd Open Hack event in India and I wanted to make sure I shared the good news with you all

As seasoned hackers, we would love for you to attend the event which is being held on the weekend of the 24-25 July at the Taj Residency in Bengaluru

We hope to showcase some of our latest technologies as well as have some of our partners come along and talk about their Open APIs

There will be the usual mix of tech talks, entertainment, food and refreshments and some surprises

Registration is now open at http://openhackindia.eventbrite.com/

As before, there is the ticket for just the tech talks on the Saturday and the hacker tickets for the full event (only select one, not both). Please make sure that you read the instructions carefully. We would also love if it you could help us spread the word as you hackers know what the event is all about.

I hope to see you again in July

Thanks

3-day festival of coding, camaraderie, demos, awards, food, music and jollity (it’s a real word, look it up). It’s not about perfect code, just your creativity, a cool idea and a working prototype. You’ll have access to tons of APIs and tools in the Yahoo! Developer Network (check out Pipes, the YUI Library, SearchMonkey and BOSS just to name a few).

Show up and hack for an opportunity to win cool prizes and maybe a chance to win an internship with Yahoo!…yes, you heard it right!. This is your shot to develop something that will revolutionize the industry, make the world a better place or at least make the judges laugh (trust us, that goes a long way!). There is plenty of great stuff to read about past university hacks.
