Feet on the Street has had a successful run of 9 months; that’s more than half a year of getting Bangalore running… for a cause!
This edition, the 10th one, of Feet on the Street is in partnership with Dream A Dream. Started in November 1999, Dream A Dream is a registered charitable trust which seeks to empower children from vulnerable backgrounds by developing life skills and at the same time sensitizing the community through active volunteers leading to a non-discriminatory society where unique differences are appreciated.
Dream A Dream hopes to achieve this by providing sustained life skill development programs to children through exposure to sports, outdoor camps, creative arts, computers and theatre among others. These life skills, including interpersonal and cognitive skills as well as soft skills such as confidence and creativity are fundamental to child/youth development and to the successful transition into adulthood. These children are deemed vulnerable as they may be orphans or abandoned children, street children and other children from slum communities.
Dream A Dream currently reaches out to over 1500 vulnerable children through an active volunteer base of over 1000 volunteers and our total reach will expand to 2000 children by 2009/2010.

The event is brought to you by: Runners For Life
In association with: Dream A Dream, Radio Indigo and End to End Marketing Solutions.

Do help us spread the word and get more and more people to start running.

Let’s get Bangalore running!
